ZAN Project brings together an unprecedented fusion of gaming, animation, and digital art, featuring a Play-to-Earn blockchain game, anime series, and exclusive NFT collection.

Trophee (TROPHEE DIGITAL PTE LTD), the Singapore-based innovator in digital experiences, has announced the groundbreaking production of a Play-to-Earn blockchain game and NFT collection for ZAN, based on the visionary artwork of world-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano.

Originally conceived in 2010 under the title DEVA ZAN, this extraordinary art collection comprises over 300 pieces of Amano's signature artwork, weaving together an immersive action-fantasy universe. The series, which explores epic, time-traveling narratives, first captivated global audiences through its 2013 artbook release by Dark Horse Comics. Since 2019, Sozo Comics has expanded the ZAN universe with an online comic adaptation by Yuzuki Momoi, available in English, Japanese, and Chinese.

"ZAN represents a new frontier where traditional art meets cutting-edge technology, creating unprecedented opportunities for fans to engage with Yoshitaka Amano's visionary world in ways never before possible."

ZAN Story

An epic journey through time and space, where honor, destiny, and the fate of worlds collide.

"It is near the end of Japan's Edo era, a time when the samurai system is rapidly fading away. Zan is one of those samurai, spending his days in endless warfare. One day, Zan hears the voice of a strange girl who guides him to another world beyond space and time. So begins his cross-dimensional battle against an assortment of new enemiesโ€”and along the way, he learns that he was once part of the 'Twelve Generals.' But who is he, really? Who are the enemies he's fighting, and the comrades he fights with? In an alternate world of light and dark, war threatens to engulf the entire land in darkness. What does fate hold for Zan in this realm...?"

About Yoshitaka Amano

Yoshitaka Amano began his illustrious career in 1967 at the age of 15 when he joined the legendary Tatsunoko Productions. His early work included character designs for classic anime series such as Casshern, Time Bokan, and Gatchaman (known as G-Force in the West), where he developed his distinctive artistic style that would later become iconic.

After establishing himself as a leading figure in Japanese animation, Amano ventured into the world of video games in 1987 when he was invited to create the character designs for the first Final Fantasy game. This marked the beginning of a decades-long collaboration with Square Enix, with Amano's ethereal artwork becoming synonymous with the franchise's visual identity. His contributions extended beyond character design to include logo creation and promotional artwork that helped define the series' aesthetic.

Amano's artistic journey took a significant turn in the 1990s when he began focusing more on fine art and international exhibitions. His first major solo exhibition in Paris in 1995 was a critical success, leading to shows in New York, London, and across Asia. During this period, he also collaborated with renowned creators such as Neil Gaiman on The Sandman: The Dream Hunters, which earned him an Eisner Award and a Hugo Award nomination, cementing his status as a master of both Eastern and Western artistic traditions.
